Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, CTCSOL is a standardized test administered by the Center for Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation, Ministry of Education, PRC. The certificate is a priority for overseas Confucius institutes to recruit Chinese language teachers. Reference basis for the selection and evaluation of Chinese teachers by schools and educational institutions at home and abroad; The reference for evaluating the teachers' level and teaching strength of international Chinese teaching institutions. Athens Confucius Institute for Business, founded in 2009 in Athens, is the first Confucius Institute in Greece and one of the first business Confucius Institutes in Europe. Since its establishment more than 10 years ago, the Confucius Institute has graduated 2,582 students in total. It offers more than 10 courses every year, which is very popular among Greek-Chinese learners. As the only authorized test site for the International Chinese Teacher Certificate in Greece, the Confucius Institute for Business in Athens has completed the first test interview and written test in 2022. At the same time, we actively promoted the "International Chinese Teacher Certificate Examination" and held information conferences, which received wide attention and praise from local Chinese educators in Greece.
