During the 2025 Chinese New Year, the headquarters of Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton, along with its various teaching sites, organized a series of vibrant and diverse cultural activities. These events included special sessions for teachers and students as well as public-facing open activities.

At the headquarters of Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton and its nine teaching sites, we organized a variety of vibrant Spring Festival and Lantern Festival celebrations. These included a grand Chinese New Year concert, clay sculpture workshops, paper-cutting and lantern-making sessions, dragon dance performances, face-changing shows, and cheongsam design activities. Teachers, students, and local residents gathered together in a festive and harmonious atmosphere to welcome the New Year.
