The Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast participated in the 21st "Chinese Bridge"

Ghana Division Finals

    On May 28, 2022 local time, the Ghana Finals of the 21st "Chinese Bridge"  Competition for Foreign College Students was successfully held online.

CI UCC started internal selection in March. and proceeded with the qualifiers and preliminary rounds. Sun Huayu, Daniel, Wang Puxiang and Liu Xing represented the institute in the finals of the Ghana Region. During the competition, the instructors helped the students to improve the content of their speeches, trained them to enhance Chinese talents  knowledge. After two months of unremitting efforts and vigourous practice, the four contestants from our school won the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place in the Ghana Division. Among them, Sun Huayu and Daniel won the second prizes, and Wang Puxiang and Liu Xing won third prizes.

This time, the Chinese Bridge results were a historic breakthrough. The achievement of such good results is inseparable from the efforts of the students and the teachers. It is hoped that the students will continue to work hard, build on the friendship between China and Ghana through the "Chinese Bridge", and start a wonderful life.
