On April 25, 2023, the "International Chinese Language Day" was successfully held in the ballroom of the Turkish-Chinese Friendship Foundation building. The event was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Turkey and organized by the Confucius Institute at the Middle East Technical University, with support from the Turkish-Chinese Friendship Foundation. It attracted more than 140 students and teachers from various schools in Ankara, as well as citizens who love Chinese culture, and it elicited a warm response among the local people in Ankara.
