"Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in Jordan, together with "The Great Wall-Petra Cup" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Jordanian College Students, forms an important annual event of Chinese language teaching and learning in Jordan. The competition includes keynote speeches, question-and-answer sessions on Chinese language, national conditions and culture, and a Chinese talent show. After fierce competition, students from the Amman TAG-Confucius Institute have won first and second places many times, and represented Jordan to participate in the World Finals of the "Chinese Bridge" competition. The competition creates a stage for Jordanian college students to demonstrate their Chinese ability, builds a platform for mutual learning and communication, stimulates their enthusiasm for learning Chinese, and enhances their understanding of China and Chinese culture.
