Balingkang Confucius Institute is the first overseas Confucius Institute jointly established by Xinyang Normal University of China and Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha of Indonesia. It aims to strengthen cooperation between the two universities, enhance the Indonesian people's understanding of Chinese language and culture, and develop friendly relations between China and Indonesia. Balingkang Confucius Institute was officially unveiled on January 12, 2024. The current operating projects mainly include language teaching and cultural communication.
