On April 29, 2025, the Confucius Classroom at Kutaisi University in Georgia held the selection test for the 18th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students. In 2024, the Confucius Classroom at Kutaisi University achieved excellent results in both the Georgia regional final and the global finals of the 17th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students, with student Achi Kandelaki winning first place in the Georgia regional final and third place in the global finals. To strive for further success in the 18th "Chinese Bridge" competition, the classroom specially organized this selection test. The test focused on basic Chinese knowledge, language application abilities, and content related to Chinese culture. Nine students participated in the test. After final scoring, four students stood out and became qualified to compete in the Georgia regional competition in Tbilisi. The classroom will organize personalized tutoring for the four students, aiming to achieve better results in this year's competition.
