Library of Chinese Classics (parallel texts edition) is a ground-breaking publishing project on a national level for China to promote Chinese cultural classics to the world in other languages, starting from the pre-Qin period to modernity, 100 pieces of representative classical works in culture, history, philosophy, military, science and technology will be selected, collated, and translated into multiple languages. Since 2016, People’s Education Press (PEP) has published Romance of the West Chamber (Russian, Spanish), Exploitation of the Works of Nature (Russian, Spanish), and Selected Yuan Plays (Japanese).
