The University of the South Pacific (USP) annually holds University Open Day. Confucius Institute at USP actively participates in the Open Day every year to show and introduce Confucius Institute to the local secondary school students and social groups. All kinds of Chinese textbooks and cultural items were exhibited during the event. Various small games such as Tasting Chinese tea, Using Chinese writing brushes, chopstick competition, table tennis competition, etc., allow participants to experience different Chinese culture.

Fiji Fashion Week is a unique activity of the Confucius Institute at The University of the South Pacific (CI-USP). It was co-exhibited by the CI-USP and Shanghai Donghua University, bringing a Chinese Fashion Design to Fiji Fashion Week. The Fiji Fashion Week is to establish a "fashion future" in Fiji to promote the development of Fiji's economy and culture and attract many fashion designers and enthusiasts. The leading exhibition is by Professor Chen Bin from Shanghai Donghua University. His design is based on the main design element of Li Jin, which originated from Hainan traditional embroidery, combined with modern design concepts and technologies in China, this traditional and contemporary integration created the theme of "regeneration". The Chinese fashion has opened a new perspective of understanding Chinese culture for the people of the South Pacific region, showing the rapid development of the contemporary fashion of China. Fijian maritime style and Chinese fashion collision presented a visual feast for the audience.
