International School in South Africa was officially held at Nelson Mandela Bay Chinese Police Community Cooperation Center. Due to the epidemic, this inauguration ceremony was held in a combination of online and offline mode.

Consul General Lin Jing of the Chinese Consulate General in Cape Town, Counsellor Yu Yuan of the Police Section of the Chinese Embassy in South Africa and Principal Wu Changhong of the Chinese International School in Cape Town, South Africa attended the inauguration ceremony online. Guests attending the inauguration ceremony offline included Nelson Mandela Bay Executive Mayor Eugene Johnson, Deputy Mayor Buyelwa Mafaya, Police Center Director Chen Dunci, Secretary General Xiao Pengfei, Supervisor Yan Shukai, Executive Director Zhang Jie, Executive Director Chen Wu, Deputy Director Wei Chengjin, Deputy Director Liu Ming, Director Liu De College of Confucius Institute at Rhodes University, Nelson Mandela Bay Deputy Director General Brigadier General Ronald Koll, South African BAIC representative Zuo Xishun, FAIC representative Peng Lei, student parent representatives Wu Qin and Zheng Wang, Nelson Mandela Bay Traffic Director Warren Prins, Gelvandale, Police Chief Brigadier General Lawrence Soekoe, Kabega Police Colonel Tony Nomdoe, Municipal Police Colonel Siyabulela Goboza and Municipal Police Colonel Raquel Paulsen.

Nelson Mandela Bay Chinese International School is a Chinese language international school hosted by the Nelson Mandela Bay Chinese Police Community Cooperation Centre, with the Chinese International School of Cape Town as the curriculum advisor and the Confucius Institute of Rhodes University providing teaching support. Up to now, there are more than twenty students, divided into four classes according to the students' Chinese language level, with two resident Chinese teachers and five reserve Chinese teachers. The curriculum covers language classes, calligraphy classes, cooking classes and other traditional Chinese culture courses. The current venue for the classes is the Nelson Mandela Bay Chinese Police Community Cooperation Center.

First of all, Director Chen Dunci gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Director Chen expressed his warm welcome to everyone who attended the inauguration ceremony of the Mandela Bay Chinese International School, and also thanked all parties for their unremitting support to the Chinese Police and Citizens Cooperation Center, and hoped that everyone would work together and cooperate together to make the Chinese International School a success.

Next, Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Eugene Johnsan gave a speech, expressing his pleasure to witness the establishment of the Chinese International School. He hoped that with the Chinese language as a bridge for cultural exchange, the relationship between China and South Africa would flourish and that the two countries would continue to strengthen their solidarity and cooperation in the future to create a better future together.

Finally, Director Chen Dunci, President Liu De College of Confucius Institute at Rhodes University, Executive Mayor Eugene Johnson and Deputy Mayor Buyelwa Mafaya of Nelson Mandela Bay inaugurated the Chinese International School.
