The agreement was signed on March 7, 2008 and the opening ceremony was held on February 25, 2009. The partner institution is Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Yerevan Brusov State University was established on February 4, 1935, and its predecessor was a two-year teacher training institution in Russia. Today with a current staff team of around 500 in total, including 434 visiting professors and lecturers, 189 full-time positions, 15 PhDs, 14 professors, 102 scientific candidates and 54 assistants professor，it has trained more than 50,000 graduates majoring in Russian, English, French, German, Spanish, practical psychology, history experts, and political science. The university is highly desired and respected by the young generation in the local community.
