一、活动简介

第三届“最·孔院”全球短视频征集活动再出发,欢迎来自世界各地的孔院人及中文爱好者以短视频的形式记录你与孔院、与中文的美好瞬间,分享中文连接你我、沟通不同文化的精彩故事,展现旅途中的独特风景、文化特色。2023年,我们向全球发出诚挚邀约,用中文创享全球故事,用镜头记录世界风情。

 

 

主题单元一:用故事,讲述孔院时光

讲述你与孔院的故事,分享你在孔院的收获。欢迎孔院院长、教师、学生以各类视角展现孔子学院(课堂)故事,介绍孔院建设和发展、办学成果、课堂情景等,记录孔子学院(课堂)教授和学习中文的趣事和妙招等。

 

主题单元二:用镜头,传递文化力量

展示活动的多姿多彩,记录文化的交流互鉴。分享你了解、学习或传播中国文化的故事,展示中国文化与当地文化的交流和互动。遵循文化和而不同的理念,探索多元文化议题,包括节日、习俗、美食、物产、品牌、运动、时尚、新媒体、影视、非物质文化遗产等。

 

2023聚焦单元:用脚步,踏遍美丽世界

世界那么大,孔院带你看。用镜头记录旅途,感受不同城市、乡村、街道的独特风景和文化特色。用影像呈现你眼中的美好,用语言解读多样的文化符号,时光会走远,影像永留存。

四、活动奖项

(一)在两个主题单元中综合评选出:

    特等奖:2部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币10000元)

    一等奖:8部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币6000元)

    二等奖:10部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币5000元)

    三等奖:20部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币3000元)

(二)在聚焦单元中评选出:

最佳影片奖1部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币10000元)

最美风景奖5部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币5000元)

最具创意奖5部作品(获奖证书、奖杯及奖金人民币5000元)

(三)此外,在所有作品中,评选出优秀奖50部作品,颁发获奖证书、奖杯。

(四)在所有作品中,根据大众投票结果,评选出最具人气奖10部,颁发获奖证书、奖杯。

(五)根据参与单位投稿的数量和质量评选出优秀组织奖35个,颁发获奖证书、奖杯。

(六)从获奖的主创人员中评选“孔院达人”,颁发荣誉证书,提供专题培训,并为其在孔子学院全球门户网站开设专栏。

(七)所有奖金均为税前金额,获奖证书和奖金由主办方通过作者所在单位进行发放。

 

五、活动导航

(一)参加范围

本届活动面向全球孔子学院(课堂),中外教育、文化交流、媒体传播等机构征集作品。参赛作品需满足下列条件中的其中一项:

(1)作品主创人员为全球孔子学院(课堂)师生、员工、校友或从事孔子学院(课堂)相关工作的同仁。

(2)作品内容与孔子学院(课堂)相关。

 

(二)活动日程

1.活动启动:2023年4月28日

2.作品征集:2023年4月28日—8月8日

3.培训及经验分享会:2023年5月、6月

4.专家评审:2023年8月

5.大众投票:2023年8月18日-9月18日

6.颁奖仪式:2023年9月27日

 

(三)报送要求

1.以全球孔子学院(课堂)或中外教育、文化交流、媒体传播等机构为单位报名参加,每家单位报送作品数量不限。

2.完整填写报名表,确保信息准确无误。将每件作品、报名表和外挂字幕打包压缩为一个文件。上述文件和压缩文件标题均命名为“孔院名称(或单位名称)-报名单元名称-作品名称”。若投稿多个作品,请分别打包压缩、上传。

3.作品形态不限,鼓励创新。纪录片、脱口秀、人物访谈、Vlog或其他创意形式,专业摄制或手机拍摄均可,时长1-10分钟。

4.作品语种不限。配音、字幕至少其中一种语言为中文,推荐使用外挂字幕。

5.作品画面清晰、主题突出、结构完整、具有故事性和创意性,内容客观真实、积极向上,正确使用孔子学院标识(若使用)。

6.作品需为本次活动原创,不得使用参与其他活动的作品进行投稿。不得侵犯任何第三方的知识产权,未在报纸、杂志、网站、社交媒体等平台公开发表。不得涉及暴力、色情、种族歧视等内容。

7.建议分辨率为1280*720或以上,格式为MP4、MOV。

(五)其他事项

1.参与活动,即视为自愿将作品著作权转让给主办方,并允许主办方进行转授权,包括但不限于以下权利:

(1)复制权;

(2)汇编权(视频的部分或全部);

(3)翻译权;

(4)印刷版和电子版的复制权;

(5)网络传播权;

(6)发行权。

2.参加人员须保证投稿作品的署名权无争议。若发生署名权争议问题,一切责任由其本人承担。

3.如发现作品涉嫌抄袭、盗用版权等情况,一律取消参加资格、追回奖励,并由其本人承担一切相关法律责任。

4.中国国际中文教育基金会对本次活动拥有最终解释权。

A New Journey丨The Launch of the 2023 CI Moments Global Short Video Collection Event

Sharing Your Chinese Journey

Collection Time: April 28–August 8, 2023

 

I. Summary of Event

The 2023 CI Moments Global Short Video Collection Event is going to be launched soon. People from CI and Chinese enthusiasts from all over the world are welcome to record their fantastic moments with CI, as well as their journey in learning Chinese, in the form of short videos. You will have the opportunity to share wonderful stories in Chinese, bridge the gap between different cultures, and showcase unique cultural features and scenery along the way. In the year of 2023, we send this sincere invitation to the whole world for this grand event.

 

Themed Section 1: Share moments in CI through a story

Tell your story and share your gains at CI. Directors, teachers, and students are welcome to present their stories with CI or Confucius Classroom to offer a wide range of perspectives; you are encouraged to introduce the construction and development of CI, educational achievements, moments in the classroom, and to record interesting stories and tips for teaching and learning Chinese at CI or Confucius Classroom.

 

Themed Section 2: Pass the power of culture with your camera

Colorful and wonderful activities will be exhibited to record cultural exchanges and mutual learning. You are encouraged to share how you came to learn, comprehend, or disseminate Chinese culture, thus displaying the exchanges and interactions between Chinese culture and local culture. You can explore multicultural issues, such as festivals, customs, cuisine, local products, brands, sports, fashion, new media, film and television, and intangible cultural heritage in compliance with the cultural concept of “harmony in diversity.”

 

The Focus Section for the Year of 2023:  Measure this amazing world through your footsteps

A journey with CI will help you see the vastness of the world. Record your journey and experience the unique scenery and cultural features of different cities, villages, and streets. Present their beauty in the form of images and interpret diverse cultural symbols through language. Time flies and never returns, but images will remain forever.

II. Hosting Organizations

Organizer: Chinese International Education Foundation (CIEF)

Supporting organization: China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd.

 

III. Media platforms

CCTV, China Daily, China News Service, Toutiao and other famous mainstream media, along with the global portal website, social media platforms and the journal of CI.

The event will be simulcast on platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Bilibili.

 

IV. Awards

1. Select from the two Themed Sections:

Grand Prize: 2 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 10,000 in prize money)

First Prize: 8 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 6,000 in prize money)

Second Prize: 10 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 5,000 in prize money)

Third Prize: 20 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 3,000 in prize money)

2.    Select from the Focus Section:

Best Video Prize: 1 entry (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 10,000 in prize money)

Best Scenery Prize: 5 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 5,000 in prize money)

Best Creativity Prize: 5 entries (awarded with a certificate, a trophy, and RMB 5,000 in prize money)

3.   Moreover,50 entries will be selected from all the video works collected to receive a certificate and a trophy for the Merit Prize.

4.  10 entries will be selected from all the video works collected to receive a certificate and a trophy for the Viewer’s Choice Prize according to public voting.

5.   35 Excellent Participating Units will be selected based on the quantity and quality of the videos submitted to receive a certificate and a trophy.

6.  A number of participants will be selected from the award-winners, and they will receive the CI’s Got Talent Prize certificate, with specialized training and a column on CI’s global portal website to be arranged for the recipients.

7.  All the award bonuses are before tax, and the award certificates and bonuses will be granted by the organizer through the units the award-winners belong to.

V. Guidelines for Participation

1. Participants

This event is open to video works submitted by CI, Confucius Classroom, and institutions for Chinese and foreign language education, cultural exchange, and media dissemination from around the world. The video submissions should meet at least one of the following requirements:

(1) The leading creators should be teachers, students, employees, and alumni of CI or Confucius Classroom, or peers engaged in the affairs of CI or Confucius Classroom around the world.

(2) The content of the works should be themed on CI or Confucius Classroom.

 

2. Event Schedule

(1) Launch of the event: April 28, 2023

(2) Collection time: April 28–August 8, 2023

(3) Training by experts and sessions of experience sharing: May and June 2023

(4) Expert review: August 2023

(5) Public voting: August 18–September 18, 2023

(6) Award ceremony: September 27, 2023

 

3. Submission Requirements

(1) All works should be submitted with CI, Confucius Classroom or an institution for Chinese and foreign language education, cultural exchange, or media dissemination around the world as the organizing unit. There is no limit on the number of works allowed for submission by each organizing unit.

(2) Please accurately fill in all the information required on the application form, which can be downloaded from the link at the end of this article. Pack and compress each item of work, the application form, and the external subtitles into one file. The titles of the aforesaid files and compressed file should be named accordingly: name of CI (or other organization) - name of the section - name of the work. If submitting multiple works, please pack, compress, and upload them as individual files.

(3) There is no limitation on the content and form of the works, and innovative creation is encouraged. The works can be produced in the form of a short documentary, talk show, interview, vlog, or any other creative form. Professional filming or shooting with a mobile phone are both acceptable, and the submission should be 1 to 10 minutes in duration.

(4) There is no limitation on the language of the submissions. At least one of the languages for dubbing and subtitles should be Chinese, and external subtitles are recommended.

(5) The submissions should have clear frames, highlighted themes, complete structures, comply with the principles of storytelling and strive for creativity. The content should be objective and true to life to render a positive atmosphere. The logo of CI should be used in an appropriate manner (if used).

(6) All works should be originally created for this event. Works created for other events are not allowed for submission. The work submitted should not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party, nor should it be previously published in newspapers, magazines, websites, social media, or any other media. The works should not involve any elements of violence, pornography, racial discrimination, etc.

(7) A format of MP4 or MOV with a resolution of 1280*720 or higher is recommended.

5. Miscellaneous

(1) Your participation in the event is considered your consent to the transfer of copyright to the organizer and for the sublicense of your work by the organizer, including, but not limited, to the following rights:

(i) Reproduction rights;

(ii) Compilation rights (for full or partial content of the video);

(iii) Translation rights;

(iv) Reproduction rights for printed and electronic versions;

(v) The right to network dissemination;

(vi) Distribution rights.

(2) The participants shall guarantee that the right of authorship to their submitted works is free from any dispute. The participants shall bear all responsibilities arising from disputes over the right of authorship to the works they submit.

(3) In case of suspected plagiarism, misappropriation of copyright, or any other illegal acts, the participants shall be disqualified from the event with the prize recovered; they shall bear all legal responsibilities arising thereof on their own.

(4) The CIEF reserves the right of final interpretation for this event.
