Invitation of the New Year

—Invitation Letter for 2023 Online Chinese Lunar New Year Gala of Confucius Institutes Around the World

Every beautiful day in the Confucius Institute passes with the sound of reading, and at every Spring Festival, we rejoice with festive and joyful fireworks. We invite you to join us for the upcoming performance at the 2023 Online Spring Festival Gala for Confucius Institutes Around the World. Show off your creativity and talents and let the splendid cultures and arts of China and other countries shine on stage. When Confucius Institute people around the globe enjoy the Spring Festival Gala and celebrate the Chinese New Year together, it is just like they are receiving greetings and best wishes from friends worldwide.

Let’s dance: Dance with joy for the new knowledge acquired in 2022.

Let’s sing: Sing a song of praise for the dedication of both teachers and students in 2022.

Watch a Chinese opera: Singing, speech, movement, and action.

Enjoy a crosstalk show: Speaking, imitating, teasing, and singing.

Listen to a skit that is full of wit and humor.

Appreciate a recitation that is romantic and poetic.

Write a Chinese character “福” to send out our greetings.

Sing “Happy New Year,” a song of best wishes.

Do a magic trick: May all your dreams magically come true in the new year.

When we meet online, remember to record a Spring Festival Message to send our sincere wishes. Happy New Year, Confucius Institutes! Hello, Year of the Rabbit!
