Instituto Confucio de la Universidad de los Andes

La Universidad de los Andes inició el programa de enseñanza del idioma chino en 2004 a través de la cooperación con la sede original del Instituto Confucio de China. En noviembre de 2007, se estableció e inauguró el Instituto Confucio de la Universidad de los Andes. La institución socia china es la Universidad de Nankai. Es el primer Instituto Confucio establecido y operado en América del Sur. Hay tres Aulas Confucio bajo el Instituto Confucio: Aula Confucio Colegio Vermont, Aula Confucio Montessori British School y Aula Confucio Gimnasio Campestre Reino Británico. Todos los cursos en el Instituto Confucio y las Aulas Confucio son cursos de crédito. Este IC. tiene un espacio independiente. La sede central del Instituto Confucio proporcionó fondos iniciales y anuales, y donó equipos. Sobre esta base, el IC. construyó una sala de idiomas (de computadoras). Sobre la base de libros donados por la Sede del Instituto Confucio, el IC. también ha establecido su propia biblioteca. El IC. da gran importancia a la investigación y el desarrollo de materiales didácticos y al desarrollo académico de acuerdo con las necesidades de desarrollo de la Uniandes: el libro de texto chino autoeditado del IC. "Chino paso a paso 1" se publicó en 2009 y recibió el premio "Excelente Libro de Texto de Chino Internacional" en la Quinta Conferencia Mundial del Instituto Confucio en diciembre de 2010. En 2016 se publicó la revista académica "Diálogo con China 1". "Chino paso a paso 2" se publicó en enero de 2022.

Distinctive and Key Programs

      Held high-end academic forums, and compiled all the papers into a book, striving to improve the academic level of the IC
      In October 2014, the University of Andes held the first academic conference on "Dialogue between China and Latin America". Several experts from different countries were invited to give lectures and have discussions. In the academic journal "China-Latin America Dialogue 1", published in April 2016. The publication of this academic journal has been well received by everyone. In May 2015, the Confucius Institute at the University of the Andes had the honor to invite Mo Yan, the Chinese winner of Nobel Prize for Literature, Tie Ning, the chairman of the Chinese Writers Association, the famous writers Ge Fei, Mai Jia, and the literary critic Yan Jingming to give academic lectures at the University of Andes. The famous Colombian writer Roberto Burgos Cantor exchanged views. in the second half of 2015, through the coordination of the Latin American Center of the Confucius Institute, Zhou Daxin, Xu Zechen, Han Shaogong and other famous writers visited the Andes University. On October 4, 2016, the Confucius Institute at the University of the Andes held the second academic conference on "China-Latin America Dialogue - Topics in China's Economy and Management". Four experts from China, France, Belgium, Peru were invited to give lectures nd have discussions.
        Self-developed Chinese teaching materials of the Confucius Institute
        The Confucius Institute places great emphasis on the research and development of teaching materials. Chino Paso a Paso 1 was published in 2009. It is the first Chinese textbook independently developed by a Confucius Institute in Spanish-speaking regions and received the “Outstanding International Chinese Language Teaching Materials” Award. The follow-up textbook, Chino Paso a Paso 2, was officially published in January 2022.
          Chinese culture courses offered over the long term
          The Confucius Institute at the University of Los Andes has long offered Chinese culture classes and has successfully launched three Chinese culture courses. These three culture courses, together with six levels of Chinese language courses, have been incorporated into the university's credit system.
