The Chinese Language Training Program for Officials of the Government of Davao de Oro, Philippines, commenced on September 6, 2019, with 26 participants from various government departments. The training initially took place in-person from mid-September 2019 to March 2020. However, due to the pandemic, classes were suspended and later resumed online in November 2020. By the end of December, 19 participants successfully completed the program, mastering basic Chinese daily conversations and gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
