Professor Ferenc Hudecz is the Vice President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the board member of Confucius Institute at Eötvös Loránd University. He once was the former Rector of Eötvös Loránd University and an honorary member of the Council of the former Confucius Institute Headquarters. His research fields include peptide and protein chemistry, biomolecular chemistry, and immunochemistry.

费伦茨·胡岱茨教授推动建立了匈牙利第一所孔子学院——罗兰大学孔子学院(与北京外国语大学共建),担任孔子学院理事的18年间,积极争取匈牙利教育部门、院校及社会各界的资金、场地等软硬件支持,为孔子学院争取了1480平方米专属办公场所。他积极推动中文纳入匈牙利国民教育体系,建设中东欧中文教师培训中心、“一带一路”研究中心,推动开展中文和中华文化研究。费伦茨·胡岱茨教授及其团队为孔子学院构建了优质、稳定发展环境,推动中匈两国教育合作不断续写新篇章。

Professor Ferenc Hudecz played a pivotal role in establishing Hungary's first Confucius Institute—the Confucius Institute at Eötvös Loránd University (co-hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University). Over his 18 years as a board member of the Confucius Institute, he has been seeking funding and logistical support from Hungarian educational departments, institutions, and various sectors of society. He managed to secure a dedicated space of 1,480 square meters for the Confucius Institute. Professor Hudecz has been a strong advocate for promoting the Chinese language to be included in Hungary's national education system, the establishment of the Central and Eastern European Chinese Language Teacher Training Center, as well as the Belt and Road Research Center, strengthening research on the Chinese language and culture. Professor Hudecz and his team have created a high-quality, stable development environment for the Confucius Institute, continuously bringing educational cooperation between Hungary and China to new chapters.
